With a strong background in Biomedical Engineering and a relentless pursuit of knowledge, I am dedicated to solving complex problems and creating value through innovative solutions.
From a young age, I was captivated by the possibilities presented in science fiction novels, comics, and movies. Inspired by the idea of machines that can think on their own, I embarked on a journey into the realm of Biocomputational Technologies. Although I haven't discovered the perfect answer to creating sentient machines like Ironman, this quest led me to the captivating fields of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
My mission is to apply these advanced technologies to real-life challenges, driving meaningful change and making a positive impact. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have undertaken exciting projects and gained practical experience that has honed my skills.
In my role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Home Point Financial, I built the Profiling and Alert Engine, an internal tool that reviews data content and quality, empowering decision-making using Entity Framework, Python, and Angular for frontend development. Collaborating with data scientists, I developed deployment strategies and implemented machine learning model pipelines in different environments.
During my time as an Artificial Intelligence Fellow at Insight, I worked on a framework for factor construction, enhancing portfolio outcomes and reducing volatility by identifying stock exposure to corresponding ETFs. Leveraging Gang of Four (GoF) design architecture and containerization with Docker, I developed a dynamic pipeline that scaled seamlessly on AWS.
As a Machine Learning Research Intern at Midmark Corporation, I successfully developed a prototype using Intel RealSense depth perception and OpenCV to measure subject height with less than a 2% error rate.
My experience also includes working on projects such as building artificial intelligence agents for tasks like Pacman game-solving using DFS, BFS, and A-star algorithms, and developing recommendation systems and reinforcement learning-based agents.
My aspiration is to be part of a dynamic environment where I can cultivate innovative ideas, articulate them effectively, and wholeheartedly strive to achieve ambitious goals with scientific integrity. I am driven by the quote from Samuel Beckett, "Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better." This mindset fuels my determination to continuously learn, grow, and refine my skills to push the boundaries of what is possible.
